Joy Cadwell Pearse

Pearse, Joy Cadwell Grand Rapids, Michigan Joy Cadwell Pearse, age 95, passed away Monday, December 26, 2022. She was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on June 20, 1927 to Ard & Hilda (McDuffee) Cadwell and graduated from Lansing Everett High School where she was a Drum Majorette. Primarily a homemaker, Joy also sold real estate for a time and co-owned a store called the Yarnhaus in Battle Creek, MI. She liked to read and play Duplicate Bridge. Joy was a proud and loyal Spartan who grew up in Lansing. But most of all she loved to spend time with her family. SURVIVORS Daughters, Jan (Chuck) Horsley of FL, Hope Kolker of Grand Rapids, MI; Son Rick Pearse of Diamondale, MI; Grandchildren, Justin (Sabina) Horsley, Jessica Rogers, Kevin Rogers, Sarah Ruddock (Marshall), Daniel Kolker, Dana Kolker, Sophia Pearse; Great-grandchildren, Josephine, Sullivan, Grayson. She was preceded in death by her brothers Dan, Pete and Dick. SERVICE A Celebration of Joy's life will take place at a later date.
