Josie M. Garza

Josie M. Garza, age 56, passed away unexpectedly March 9, 2008 at her home. She was born August 10, 1951 in Muskegon to the late Exiquio and Agnes (Chingman) Garza and was a member of the Southern Grand River Band of the Native American Ottawa Tribe and an active member of Four Seasons Kateria Circle of Muskegon. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Fredrick "Tiny" Garza and Michael Garza. Josie is survived by her son, Kenneth (Summer) M.S. Garza; 3 grandchildren, Gage, Spencer, and Madison; 3 brothers, Esiquio "Rusty" (Barbara) Garza, Philo (Mary) Garza, and Andy (Carlotta) Garza. A Memorial Service for Josie will be announced at the later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Josie's family in care of Ken Garza.
