Joseph Yandian

YANDIAN, MR. JOSEPH Muskegon, MI Mr. Joseph Yandian, age 81, died Friday, October 3, 2003. He was born in Providence, RI on May 27, 1922 to Robert & Shoshan Mazmanian Yandian & married the former Annjean Flickema on June 23, 1946. Mr. Yandian served his country in the U.S. Air force during WWII as a Bombardier/Navigator, having flown 35 missions. He was a graduate of U of M & had been employed as a Teacher & Principal at Wayne - Westland Community Schools for 37 years until retiring in 1986. Mr. Yandian retired from the Air Force Reserve as Lt. Col. He enjoyed sailing, photography & golf. SURVIVORS Wife, Annjean; 2 sons, Stephen Joyce Yandian of Ann Arbor, MI & Bill Kay Yandian of North Muskegon, MI; 2 daughters, Ellen Edwin Jaworski of Dexter, MI & Laurie Lynn Jeffery of Eastpointe, MI; 6 grandchildren, Jeffery, Emily, Sarah, Samantha, William & Steven; 2 sisters, Kitty Andy Anderson of FL & Mary McCoy of TX. SERVICE Monday, October 6, 2003, 2:00 PM at the Clock Chapel with Pastor John Brown officiating. Interment at Lakeside Cemetery. VISITATION Monday, one hour prior to the service at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association. Clock - Muskegon
