WIRTZ, MR. JOSEPH J. Roosevelt Park, MI Mr. Joseph J. Wirtz, age 92, died Tuesday, March 19, 2002. He was born in Manistee, MI on February 20, 1910 to Thomas & Veronica Marysiak Wirtz & married the former Rose L. Martin in Brunswick, MI on June 12, 1937. Mr. Wirtz had been employed as a Foreman at Shaw Walker Co. for 34 years until retiring in January of 1972. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, The Knight's of Columbus Dan M. Kennedy Council 706 & the Bishop Baraga 4th Degree Assembly. SURVIVORS: Wife, Rose; special nephew & niece, Srean ''Joe'' & Donna Yager of Roosevelt Park; 3 sisters-in-law, Catherine Wirtz, Katherine Wirtz & Mona Wirtz, all of Muskegon; 1 brother, Louis Genevieve Wirtz of Muskegon; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Jewett. SERVICE: Thursday, March 21, 2002, 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Norman Droski officiating. Interment at St. Michael's Cemetery in Brunswick, MI. VISITATION: Wednesday, 6-8 PM at Clock Funeral Home with a Rosary service at 7:00 PM.
