Joseph John Schroeder, Sr., age 93, died January 14, 2008. Born on April 17, 1914, he is survived by his wife of 70 years, Lillian and children Patricia (Richard) Capek, Joan (John) Herron, Jean (Peter) Harvey, Edward (Patricia) Schroeder, Joseph, Jr. (Nickie) Schroeder, Margaret (Ray) Mallett, Thomas (Sue) Schroeder as well as 19 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service and Mass were held in Chicago, Jan. 18.
