Joseph Raczok

Mr. Joseph W. Raczok, age 86, passed away Monday, February 11, 2013. He was born in Grand Haven, MI on October 9, 1926 to Michael & Paraska (Fedorkew) Raczok and married the former Laura Gauthier-Showers on March 19, 1988. Mr. Raczok had been employed as a machinist at Oldberg's Manufacturing and Bastian-Blessing. He retired from Grand Rapids Local 1165 of the Laborers Union. He was a member of the American Legion in Holton and the VFW in Grand Haven. Joseph was happiest farming the land and gardening. He will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Daughters, Judi (Rodger) McKay of Grand Haven, Janis (Ron) Hansen of CA, Joanne (Randy) Lyttle of Grand Haven, Julie Rinard of Holton; sons, Joe Raczok of Grand Rapids, Jim (Theresa) Raczok of Lowell, Jerry (Sue) Raczok of Holland; 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; twin sister, Alice Raczok of Canada. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Laura Raczok; son, Jody; sisters, Catherine Chorny, Helen Sarachman, Mary Strazanac and Anna; brothers, William Raczok, Alex Raczok, Harry Raczok, John Raczok.
