Joseph Anthony Orcutt

In Loving Memory of Joseph Anthony Orcutt Our Beloved Joseph Anthony Orcutt who gained his wings on August 21. He was born on September 22, 1984 in Muskegon, Michigan, where he was raised most of his life.

Joey is loved and missed by his mother Kendra Orcutt, girlfriend Courtney McClellan; his children Brenden Orcutt, Joseph Costanzo, Hailey Fenner, Cecelia Orcutt, Riot Rodrigues and Braleigh Callison. Also survived by his sisters Julie Berghuis and Angela Berghuis, brothers Michael (Katie) Berghuis, Chris (Monica) Woodruff, and Larry Berghuis, as well as many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins and friends.

Joey was a determined worker, and he was always there for others when he could be and it didn't matter where he was at or what he was doing he would try to be there for the person. He tried his best to be a good and decent man that he was, and he never gave up. Joey's heart was pure and full of love and he had a passion for his kids, family and friends. He always looked forward to any family occasion that involved multiple loved ones gathering. His favorite hobby was playing pool and his favorite quote was "don't sweat petty things and don't pet sweaty things!" His daily reminder was you are the equal of the 5 people closest to you, and surround yourself with successful, good and positive people. He had a passion for working on small engines and rebuilding them. Joey was a handy man and handy man jobs were a common skill that he enjoyed, but his absolute favorite job was working on oil rigs, and he talked about returning someday to that type of work. He was loved by many everywhere that he went. He was a beautiful soul and had an infectious smile that would brighten up an entire room.

Joey was proceeded in death by his father Lawrence Berghuis, his grandparents Candy Lee, Butch Orcutt, Julia and Clarence Berghuis, and his best friend Travis Carnes, Sr.

Today we don't mourn his death, today we Celebrate his awakening into Heaven's Gate, where he will continue to be with our loved ones who have gone before us. We will always carry your memory in our hearts until we meet again. Rest in Peace!

A Celebration of Life for Joey will be held Sunday, September 22, 2024 at the Patio, 3680 Airline Road, Norton Shores, MI 49444 from 2:00PM until ?.
