CHRISTIAN, MR. JOSEPH H. Roosevelt Park Mr. Joseph "Big Joe" H. Christian, age 77, died Wednesday, May 11, 2005. He was born in Muskegon, MI on January 31, 1928 to Earl & Dora Rollenhagan Christian & married the former Geraldine Louise Kuhn on June 20, 1953. Mr. Christian served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He had been employed as a meat cutter at Smith's Packing Co. & DeVries Meats until retiring. He was a member of St. Francis deSales Catholic Church. Mr. Christian enjoyed hunting, football, rodeos, county fairs & lawn business with his great grandson. SURVIVORS 2 daughters, Barbara Christian of Long Beach, CA & Katherine Indgjer of Muskegon; 1 granddaughter, Stephanie Matt Detamore Davis; 1 great grandson, Tyler Davis; 1 sister, Clara Christian of Muskegon; many relatives & friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine in 1994; 2 sons, John in 1957 & Joseph in 2003. SERVICE Tuesday, May 17, 2005, 11:00 AM at St. Francis deSales Catholic Church Chapel with Fr. Phil Witkowski officiating. VISITATION Monday, 1-3 & 6-8 PM at Clock Funeral Home & 10:30 - 11:00 AM at St. Francis deSales Catholic Church Chapel.
