Joseph A. Demarco

DEMARCO, MR. JOSEPH A. Spring Lake Mr. Joseph A. DeMarco, age 84, died Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at his home. He was born in Chicago, IL on October 20, 1920 to Antimo & Anna Russo DeMarco and married Sharon Bocks Crum on August 25, 1983. He served his country in the US Army and the National Guard. Mr. DeMarco had been a manager for A& P Grocery Store and he owned and operated DeMarco Food Store in Chicago, IL. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 925 and the VFW. SURVIVORS Wife, Sharon; a son, Joseph Irene DeMarco of Spring Lake, MI; daughter, Anna Bensinger of Fruitport, MI; stepson, Don Crum of Fruitport, MI; 3 stepdaughters, Veronica Robert Christner of Coopersville, MI, Janet Stuart of Muskegon, MI and Suzanne David Nichols of Muskegon, MI; several grandchildren and many great grandchildren; sister, Mary Jones of Chicago, IL; 2 brothers, Toney Amelia DeMarco and Ben DeMarco both of Chicago, IL; former wife, Rose DeMarco. Mr. DeMarco was preceded in death by his brother in law, Gene Jones and a sister in law, Maggy DeMarco. SERVICE 2 PM, Friday, April 29, 2005 at Clock Funeral Home with Fr. William Langlois officiating. Visitation will be Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Interment at Lakeshore Cemetery. MEMORIALS: Hospice of N. Ottawa Community or the American Cancer Society.
