Joseph Danhof

Mr. Joseph Danhof Jr., age 81, died Saturday, December 27, 2008. He was born in Muskegon, MI on May 27, 1927 to Joseph & Gertrude (Kroes) Danhof and served his country in the US Navy during WWII. He married the former Doris Swinton on June 18, 1948 and had been employed as an Assistant Treasurer at Shaw Walker for 39 years until retiring. He was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church and will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Wife, Doris of 60 years; sons, David Danhof, Robert Danhof both of N. Muskegon, Thomas (Karen) Danhof of AR; grandchildren, Brett Danhof, Nicole (Alan) Danhof-Holden both of Muskegon, Jason (Shar) Danhof of N. Muskegon, Joseph Danhof of AZ, Rebecca Danhof of Muskegon; sisters, Alma (Ed) Walhout of Grand Rapids, Lois Grinwis of Muskegon. SERVICE Wednesday, December 31, 2008, 11:00 AM at the Clock Chapel with Rev. William Uetricht officiating. Interment at Restlawn Cemetery. VISITATION Wednesday, 1 hour prior to the service at Clock Chapel.
