Joseph (Joe) Jaunese Briggs passed away unexpectedly at home on November 24, 2025. Joe graduated from Mona Shores High School and owned Rymax Fiberglass Repair for 30 years. He was a dedicated hard worker who enjoyed boating, fishing and spending time with his family. From riding Sea-Doos in the Gulf to driving trucks at Silver Lake, or even simply enjoying a large bonfire, everyone that knew Joe is aware that he lived his life to the fullest. Most of all, he cherished everything that he did with his children. He was a loyal friend and never hesitated to help anybody that asked. He literally was that person that could fix anything. He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew and loved him. Joe was born in Ludington, Michigan on April 24, 1965 and is survived by his wife, Diane Briggs of Muskegon, son Max Briggs (Emily Little) of Twin Lake, daughter, Riley Briggs of Muskegon, parents Mary Jo and Larry Briggs of Norton Shores, brother Michael (Teresa) Briggs of Muskegon, and many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death at the age of four by his father, James V. Jaunese. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
