Jones, Alvera Atkinson

Mrs. Alvera Jones, age 65, passed Mon., Dec. 4, 2006 at Heartland of Whitehall. She retired from Sears as a sales clerk. She is survived by her mother, Alice Atkinson; her husband, Louis Jones; 4 sons, Johnny, Michael, Sr., Russell, Sr., Robert; 1 daughter, Theresa; 2 sisters, Gloria 3 brothers, James Jr., Walter & Christopher; and she was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Wayne, Roger 1 sister, Brenda. Services will be held Friday, Dec. 8, at Toombs Chapel at 12 noon. Visitation begins Thursday at the Chapel from 2 PM until 7 PM. Rev. Walter Lane officiating. Interment Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
