Johnson, Erna L.

Mrs. Erna L. Johnson, age 96, passed away peacefully early Friday evening at a local nursing home. Erna was born on July 19, 1910 in Elgin, MN to John and Olga (Streich) Schmiedeberg. She married Mr. Russell Johnson in Iowa on November 10, 1938 and he preceded her in death on March 31, 1986. SURVIVORS: 5 nieces and nephews, Violet Janes, Ardis Schmidt, Ione Sheridan, Patsy Schippers, and Ted Johnson. She was also preceded in death by a nephew, Tim Johnson. In honoring the wishes of Mrs. Johnson, there will be no visitation. A private graveside service will be held.
