John R. "Jack" Yost Jr.

Mr. John R. 'Jack' Yost, age 87, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2011. He was born in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania on July 10, 1923 to John R. & Helen (Bader) Yost and married the former Dorcas Farrington. Mr. Yost had been the former owner & founder of Muskegon Chemical Co. until retiring. He was a longtime active member of First Presbyterian Church, member of the Muskegon Country Club and very active in the Muskegon community throughout the years. SURVIVORS Wife, Dorcas; sons, John R. (Kimberly) Yost III of Maryland, Stephen W. (Isabelle) Yost of France; daughter, Elizabeth Hibbs and DeeDee Berry of Muskegon; sister, Mary Crowley of New York City; grandchildren, Christopher, Margaux, Julien; several nieces & nephews.
