John J. "Slick" Sliekers

John J. Sliekers was born on April 7, 1955 in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of John and Jean (Leyden) Sliekers, and passed away on October 15, 2007. In 1986 he married Kim Marie Rundel. John is survived by his wife; parents; five siblings, Teri (Tom) Sliekers, Lynn Kobliska, Marty (Lori) Sliekers, Sara Sliekers, and Tyson Sliekers; along with several nieces and nephews. John worked for Howmet, and was a member of A.B.A.T.E. Region 5. Cremation has taken place, and a Memorial Service will be held at the Muskegon Motorcycle Club, Mt. Garfield Clubhouse, on Saturday, October 27, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to John's family and may be sent to Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel, 1783 E.
