Mr. John Piotrowski, age 92, died peacefully Monday, March 10, 2008. He was born on May 20, 1915 in Holland, MI and married Josephine Platko on July 5, 1941. She died on September 23, 1994. John was a lifelong member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Polish Falcons and Polish National Alliance. He retired from Teledyne-Continental Motors Corp. in 1972 and built many homes in the Muskegon area. Survivors are his children, Loraine (Chuck) Anderson, Helen (Steve) Peterson, Frank (Zosia) Piotrowski all of Muskegon, and Marie (Joe) Kendra of Chandler, AZ; 21 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson. John had many dear friends including Larry Zaremba and his caregiver, Kristina Glodek. The Funeral Liturgy will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Entombment will be made at St. Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation hours will be on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the Pachesny-Jend Funeral Home, 1415 Peck St., Muskegon, where the Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. Visitation also Thursday at the funeral home one hour prior to service.
