John Pekel

Mr. John Lee Pekel, age 61, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2016. He was born in Fremont, Michigan on April 7, 1954 to Clifford & Norma (Jones) Pekel and served his country in the US Army. Mr. Pekel had been employed as a truck driver for Foreway and dispatcher for Port City Cab. John was a member of Kainay Community Church and played pool on three leagues. SURVIVORS Daughters, Connie (Carl Wilson) Pekel of Georgia, Jennifer (Dustin Lee) Dash of Muskegon, Juanita (James Smith) Pekel of Rothbury, Ryan (Steven) Lightfoot of Shelby; grandchildren, Leo, Jamario, Jonathon, James, Devon & Zander; brothers, Dennis (Brenda) Pekel, Marvin (Debbie) Jones; sister, Deborah (Chris) Rogers, Kathy Carrol & Judy Jager. SERVICE Saturday, January 16, 2016, 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior to the service at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Darrell Lathrop officiating.
