OLSEN, MR. JOHN JACK M Tampa, FL John Jack M Olsen, age 76, of Tampa, Florida passed away Saturday, January 3, 2004. He was born in Battle Creek, MI and lived most of his life in Muskegon before moving to Tampa. He was a Telephone Pioneer and was employed by GTE for 44 years. He was an US Army Veteran WWII, member of the Masonic Lodge in Muskegon and a member of the Egypt Temple Shrine in Tampa. Jack was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Genevieve Ginger Witt Olsen. SURVIVORS Survivors include his wife Vivian; two sons Michael of Muskegon, James of Tampa, Fl., daughter, Nanette Day of Wayne, NJ; Sister, Lillian Trapp of Muskegon; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. SERVICE A funeral service was held for Jack in Tampa on Wednesday, January 7, 2004. A memorial service will be held for him in the spring in Muskegon at the Clock Funeral Home, and his cremated remains will then be laid to rest with his wife Ginger.
