John Mylenek

Mr. John J. Mylenek, age 69, passed away Monday, August 17, 2015. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on March 5, 1946 to Carl & Gertrude (Neuman) Mylenek and served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He married the former Carolyn McKinney on August 23, 1969. Mr. Mylenek had been employed as a Flush Operator for Sun Chemical for 23 years until retiring. John was a life time member of VFW Don Rea Post 8846 and enjoyed hunting and fishing. SURVIVORS Son, Ronald (Jennifer) Mylenek; grandson, Eric Mylenek; brother, Jim (Faye) Mylenek; sister, Virginia Mylenek-Sibley; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, in 2014. MEMORIAL GATHERING Saturday, August 22, 2015, Noon till 3:00 pm at Clock Funeral Home-Muskegon. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery with Military Honors under the Auspices of the Muskegon County Council of Veterans.
