John Mink Jr.

Mr. John Mink Jr., age 72, passed away Monday, October 10, 2011. He was born in Fruitport, MI on January 27, 1939 to John & Lottie (Cooley) Mink Sr. and married the former Barbara Bordeau on October 28, 1961. Mr. Mink had been the owner of Mink's Auto Parts for 54 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, people and his dog, Red. But foremost was his family. SURVIVORS Wife of 49 years, Barbara; son, Jay John (Misty) Mink of Fruitport; daughters, Donna (Dave) Phillips, Peggy (Dana) Hodge, Marlene Thompson, all of Fruitport; 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, sisters, Helen (Fred) Goll of Ravenna & Geraldine Hittle of Fruitport. He was preceded in death by his sister, June Klintworth. SERVICE Friday, October 14, 2011, 11:00 AM at Clock Chapel - Fruitport. Interment at Nunica Cemetery. VISITATION Thursday, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Fruitport. MEMORIAL: American Heart Association.
