John Miklosovic

Mr. John M. Miklosovic, age 93, passed away unexpectedly in Ann Arbor Wednesday afternoon, April 4, 2007. John was born on February 9, 1914, the 4th of 6 children to Michael and Hermine (Celes) Miklosovic. John was raised on a farm in Greenville, PA until moving to Muskegon in 1935, where he met and then married the former Mary Ann Kmiecik at St. Michael's Catholic Church on June 19, 1937. Mary preceded him in death on February 23, 2006. Mr. Miklosovic was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Muskegon Hts. and the Christ of King Catholic Church in Ann Arbor. John served his parishes as a Carmelite for 53 years and was a member of Tatra Hall. He worked in the CC Camps prior to WWII and retired from Alloy Tech in Grandville in 1979 where he was a machinist. SURVIVORS: son, Michael (Mary) Miklosovic of Ann Arbor; 3 daughters, Mary Ann (Paul) Karis of Peoria, AZ, Emily Jean Miklosovic of Whitehall, MI, and Christine Teegardin of Palm City, FL; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Miklosovic of Brunswick, OH; 15 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his son, John in 2005. The MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 10, 2007, Fr. Norman Droski presiding.
