MEDENDORP, MR. JOHN ALBERT Norton Shores Mr. John A. Medendorp, 84, of Norton Shores, died Friday, April 8, 2005. He was born in Muskegon, on Feb. 19, 1921 to Albert and Sena Keur Medendorp and married the former Doris Beekman on Feb. 17, 1944 in Muskegon. Mr. Medendorp served his country in the US Air Force during WWII. He owned and operated Medendorp Auto Supply for over 25 years until retiring in1986. Mr. Medendorp was a member of Calvary Bible Church, an avid golfer, former chairman of the Sr Golf League at Lincoln Golf Club and enjoyed traveling. SURVIVORS Wife, Doris; daughter, Sherry David Styf of Sarasota, FL; 5 grandchildren, Dan Styf, Matt Styf, Jon Styf, Meghan, Aaron Oosterhart; 2 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" Barnhard, Frances Haken and Artis Tom Nummerdor, all of Muskegon; brother, Cornelius "Casey" Ruth Medendorp of Coldwater, MI. Mr. Medendorp was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Sandra Medendorp in 1949 and Joni Oosterhart in 1978. MEMORIAL SERVICE Saturday, May 7, 2005, 1:00 PM at the Clock Chapel with Rev. Keith Dragt officiating. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery. VISITATION One hour prior to the service at Clock Funeral Home. Clock - Muskegon
