JONAITIS, MR. JOHN GERALD Grand Haven, MI John Gerald Jonaitis, age 61, went to be with his Lord, Sunday, April 13, 2003. He was born in White Cloud, MI on May 21, 1941 to George & Stephanie Folta Jonaitis & married the former Susan Carlson on August 26, 1993. He graduated from White Cloud High School in 1960, attended Christ for the Nations College & served his country in the U.S. Army in Germany from 1960 to 1963. Mr. Jonaitis had been employed as an Extruder Operator at Nicholas Plastics in Allendale, MI & had previously been a salesperson for Sherrif Goslin Roofing. John assisted his wife with her Personalized Prints business. He was a member of Resurrection Life Church & was an avid sports fan who especially enjoyed the Chicago White Sox, bowling & hunting. Survivors: Wife, Susan; mother, Stephanie Jonaitis of White Cloud, MI; son John Gerald Andrea Jonaitis II of N. Muskegon, MI; daughter, Elizabeth David Dykema of Muskegon, MI; 8 grandchildren, Magann & Alexander Dykema, Cody & Morgan Jonaitis, Kelsy & Hayley Keur, Isaac Brickey & Bianca Richard; 3 sisters, Vicki Jonaitis of White Cloud, MI; Christine David Velton of San Juan Capastrano, CA; & Theresa Donald Aldrich of Big Rapids, MI; 3 brothers, George Karen Jonaitis of Jenison, MI, Michael Elsa Rae Jonaitis of White Cloud, MI & Joseph Jane Jonaitis of Portland, MI; several nieces & nephews. Mr. Jonaitis was preceded in death by his father & a daughter, Rebecca Jonaitis. Service: Tuesday, April 15, 2003, 4:00 PM at Resurrection Life Church with Pastor Bernie Groendyke officiating.
