John "Big John" Jaenicke

Jaenicke, John "Big John" Fruitport John "Big John" Jaenicke, age 80 passed away at home on August 28, 2018. John is survived by his wife of 56 years, Phyllis; children, Paul (Rhonda) Jaenicke, Tom Jaenicke, Linda (Dave) Sterner; five grandsons; brother, Chuck and sister, Pat. John is a veteran of the United States Navy. He retired from SPX after 30 years of service. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at Sunset Celebration Center, 3593 E. Pontaluna Rd., Fruitport, Michigan on Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 1:00 3:00 pm with Military Honors being bestowed at 1:15 pm. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association or any VFW post of your choice.
