John Hyland Hogan

HOGAN, MR. JOHN HYLAND Muskegon Mr. John "Jack" Hyland Hogan, age 86, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Thursday, July 27, 2006. He was born in Grand Rapids, MI on May 13, 1920 to Leonard & Bina (Hickey) Hogan and married the former Betty J. Lawson on January 28, 1950 in Muskegon, MI. Mr. Hogan had been employed as a Weighmaster for the Muskegon County Road Commision for 23 years until retiring in 1985. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and had been an avid golfer. SURVIVORS He leaves behind his beloved wife of 56 years, Betty J. Hogan; 2 sons, Michael J. (Suzanne) Hogan of Grand Haven, Marty B. Hogan of Muskegon; 2 daughters, Jodi B. Hogan, Lisa E. Hogan both of Grand Rapids; 3 grandchildren, Molly, Kelly & Derek of Grand Haven. SERVICE There will be a private family service. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery. VISITATION A visitation for friends & relatives will be held on Monday, 6-8 PM at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon with a scripture service at 8 PM. MEMORIAL: Alzheimer's Association.
