John "Warren" W. Hibbard

HIBBARD, MR. JOHN W. ''WARREN'' Fruitport, MI Mr. John W. ''Warren'' Hibbard, age 80, died Tuesday, January 15, 2002. He was born in Muskegon Heights, MI on February 12, 1921 to John W. & Lydia Klett Hibbard & married the former Virginia Haney in Muskegon on February 8, 1942. Mr. Hibbard had served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII in the 126th Infantry, 32nd Red Arrow Division. He had been employed as a Machinist at Teledyne Continental Motors for 32 years until retiring in 1980 & was a lifetime member of Samuel Lutheran Church. SURVIVORS: He will be sadly missed by his daughter, Kathleen V. Kenneth Walsama Sr. of Muskegon; 2 grand-children, Ken Walsama Jr. of Muskegon & Tonya Laurent-Franklin of KY; 4 great grandchildren, Staci Walsama, Caleb Laurent, Ryan Walsama & Kaylyn Walsama; several nieces & nephews; 2 godsons, Gary White Sr. & Joseph White, both of Muskegon. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia on April 12, 2001, daughter, Carol Ann Hibbard; 3 sisters, Mable Shriver, Dorothy Chubb & Helen Holmes. SERVICE: Friday, January 18, 2002, 11:00 AM at Samuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Lewis Glick officiating. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery. VISITATION: Thursday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Clock Funeral Home.
