John E. Cude

John E. Cude, age 81, passed away Wednesday, Nov 26, 2008 at a Muskegon hospital. He was born July 12, 1927 in Cardwell, Missouri to John and Ruth (Malone) Cude, residing in the Muskegon area for over 50 years. John served his country (1945-1947) in the US Army and was self-employed in auto sales and body work. In retirement he avidly enjoyed doing the Flea Market. His survivors include his wife, Betty; children, Dan (JoAnn) Cude, Dawn Cude, Deb (Scott) Kelly-Austhof, and Lori Gomez-Payne, 4 grandchildren, and one great granddaughter; one brother, Kenneth (Shirley) Cude; two sisters, Glenda Lou (Max) Higgins and Helen Cater. According to John's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held with Military Honors at the American Legion Post #28, 700 S. Harbor Ave, Grand Haven, Thursday, December 4 at 2pm. Immediately following the service there will be food and refreshments. Memorials be made to the Grand Haven American Legion Post #28 Scholarship Fund.
