"A Gentle Man" (quoted by an anonymous friend and felt by many others) aged 65 quietly passed away on the morning of January 31, 2021, joining Mom and Dad on their 73rd Anniversary. Johnny, as he was known, born on March 30, 1955, lived a life full of honest caring for others during a sometimes difficult life of his own. A Warren (MI) High School graduate (1973), he started working in the warehouse and eventually became Sales Manager at Detroit based Siding World Building Supply company. He was much appreciated by clients and colleagues alike for his managerial, people skills and work ethic. He retired after 30 years due to disability and was currently living in South Haven MI. He loved being with family and friends, "adventures" at the family's retreat on the Rifle River and polkas by his favorite "The Overhead Polka Band". He sat in with the band wherever and whenever needed and also loved classic venerable TV shows. His kindness and generosity will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Violet Blanche (Dika) Cooper, beloved cousin Emil (Roy) Dika and Aunt Irene Dika among others. John is survived by brother Daniel (Sondra) Cooper, brother David (Susan) Cooper and sister Jeanna Cooper along with many other family and friends who loved him dearly. Due to the current pandemic and virus (COVID-19) that took this wonderful soul, plans for a family/friends memorial will be postponed until a later date. In lieu of flowers please send donations to: In Memory of John Cooper III The Croatian Fraternal Union "Zora" Lodge 351 32851 Ryan Road Warren, MI 48092 www.zoralodge351.com
