Mr. John Edward Bennett, age 64 passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 12th, 2024 at Trinity Health Muskegon after a brief illness. He was born in Muskegon, Mi on August 19, 1959 to Ebben and Annie Lee (Gilbert) Bennett, and was a graduate of Muskegon Heights High School, Class of 1978, and was a retiree of CWC Textron of the time of his demise.
SURVIVORS
John leaves to cherish his precious memory, his children Dareese (Nina) Hewlett, Jasmine Bennett, Brock Williams and Ja'Scha Bennett all of Muskegon, MI. Sister Evelyn (Roderick) Williams of Kalamazoo Mi, Brother Kevin (Kelly) Bennett of Muskegon Heights Mi, 15 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and lifelong forever friend, Wendy Bennett. He was preceded in transition by his parents, infant daughter, Monyai Bennett, brother Edwin Bennett, sister, Darlene Bennett, 1 grandson Davion Hewlett, and 1 granddaughter, Dasha Hewlett.
SERVICE
Monday, June 24, 2024, 12:00 Noon. at West Michigan Worship Center with Pastor Robert Johnson officiating. Interment in Restlawn Cemetery.
