John Stanley Alms

Mr. John Stanley Alms, age 68, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, December 17, 2007 at the Shore Haven Living Center in Grand Haven. John was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 25, 1939 to Dr. Stanley W. Alms and Eva McConnell Alms. John graduated from Muskegon High School, Muskegon Community College, and R.E.T.S. Electronic Technical School in Detroit. He had a life-long interest in science, electronics, technology, and computers. John was also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. SURVIVORS John is survived by three sisters, Jill Misner of Grand Haven, Judy (Lester) Hoyle of Oregon, and Joyce (Chip) Ransford of Colorado as well as a nephew, David (Della) Misner and a niece, Aimee (Dave) Wilson. SERVICE There will be a private memorial service for John. Memorial contributions can be made in John Alms' name to the Hospice of North Ottawa. Clock Life Story- Grand Haven
