Joel Walker, 71, of Muskegon, Michigan, passed away on July 12, 2024. He was born June 4, 1953, in Magnolia, Arkansas, the son of Jessie Culp and John C. Walker Jr. Mr. Walker graduated from Muskegon High School in 1971 and then attended Muskegon Business College. He worked as a machine operator and tool and die maker for Grand Haven Stamp Products and later became a certified nursing assistant, retiring from the Brookhaven Care Facility.

Children, JoAnn Vance, Kamika Vance, Joel Vance, Paul Williams; Siblings, Rosie Walker; Willie McCoy, Jr, Carolyn McCoy, Cynthia McCoy, Theresa Winters, Darrell McCoy. He was preceded in death by his children Tomeka Brown & DeMario Walker; granddaughters Janette Vance and Cherene Stanford; parents, John C Walker Sr. and Jessie and Willie McCoy Sr.; sister Ruby N. Thomas and brother John C. Walker Jr.
MEMORIAL SERVICE
Saturday, July 20, 2024, 2:00 PM at Mount Hermon Zion Baptist Church. To honor Joel Walker's wishes, there will not be a viewing or burial service.
