Jodi Luckett

Jodi Ann Luckett, age 19, died Friday, April 20, 2007 in her home. Jodi was a life long Muskegon resident and a graduate of Muskegon High School. Our dear sweet Jodi, you meant the world to so many people. You were kind, helpful, and truly caring. You will be forever missed by your family and friends, but most of all by me, your mom. You are my best friend. I've so much enjoyed spending time with you. A beautiful child, a troubled teen, and a wonderful, fun young woman. I looked forward to your calls up to 20 times a day to just check in with me and have our daily "girl talk." I am so proud of you. Making your own way, being responsible, and still finding time to help those in need. I will always love you. I will especially miss the sense of humor that only you and I really understood. She will forever be missed by her mom and dad, Tamara (Hawkins) and Frank Sundquist, Joseph Luckett and Dawn; grandparents, Donald Hawkins, Frank Sundquist, Jr., Joyce Luckett, and her special grandma, Nancy Barnard; aunts and uncles, Don and Wendy, Mark and Tammy, Daylan and Adrienne, Wesley, Vicky and Jim, Ken and Kathy, and Sandy and Mike; brothers and sisters, Frank, Ashley, Kelley, and Amber; cousins, Chrissy, Donnie, Holly, Heather, Nick, Ashley, Alexis, C.J., Robbie, Amanda, Chad, Kyle, Brittany, Stephanie, and Michelle; great-aunts and uncles, Barb Collins, Betty Johnson, and Bill and Mary Ring; and all her special friends, including those supports through Webster House, the Youth Home, Family/Juvenile Court, and the crew at Wendy's on Henry. Jodi was preceded in death by her Grandpa Frank, Uncle Bob, and Grandma Gelinas. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 10:00 AM Saturday morning at The Walburn Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. (231) 759-8565 VISITING with the family will be one hour prior to the service. The family requests in lieu of flowers, that all contributions be directed to Webster House Youth Services (1221 W. Laketon, Muskegon, 49441) in memory of Jodi.
