Joanne Slowik

Mrs. Joanne A. Slowik, age 78, died Monday, December 14, 2009. She was born in Michigan on March 2, 1931 to Harold & Sylvia (Clark) Schlattman and married John Slowik on December 12, 1986. Mrs. Slowik had been employed as a full time clerk at the circulation desk of Hackley Public Library. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church and enjoyed choir & playing the bells, music, reading and her family. SURVIVORS Children, Luanne Holubeck of Muskegon, Catherine (Kenneth) Brady of Whitehall, Kenneth (Julie) Holubeck of Ravenna; 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; step granddaughter, Mandy (Gregg) Alsteens; 4 great step grandchildren; brothers, Raymond Schlattman of IL, Glen Schlattman of Petosky; several nieces, nephews & cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John, brothers, Doug & Jim Schlattman. SERVICE Thursday, December 17, 2009, 11 AM at Central United Methodist Church.
