Mrs. Schultz, age 77, passed away after a courageous two year battle with cancer on March 23, 2007. Born July 5, 1929, in Mohler, Washington, to Fred and Hattie (Seaver) Yarwood, she had lived in the White Lake area most of her life. On September 15, 1950, in Montague, she married Roger C. Schultz Sr. who preceded her death in 1987. A graduate of Grand Valley State College, she had been a school teacher in the Montague Area Public School's for 25 years, and was a member of Claybanks United Methodist Church. Mrs. Schultz was a past President of White Lake VFW Post #3256 Auxiliary, a member of TOPS, a member of Montague Museum Association, a member of Habitat for Humanity and very much enjoyed gardening and bird watching. FAMILY: 1 daughter, Cheryl (James) Parker of Montague; 3 sons, Roger Jr. (Diane) Schultz of Shelby, David (Laura) Schultz & John (Cathy) Schultz, both of Montague; 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, James (Jo) Yarwood of IL and Jay (Pam) Yarwood of WA; 2 sisters-in-law, Betty Graham of Montague and Phyllis Strahl of Spring Lake. SERVICE: Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at 11:00 AM from Clock Chapel-Whitehall with the Rev. Gayle S. Berntsen officiating. Interment will be made in Oakhurst Cemtery - Whitehall. A VFW Auxiliary Memorial Service will be held Monday, 7 PM, at the funeral home. VISITING HOURS: Monday, 2-4 & 6-8 PM, at the funeral home in Whitehall. DONATIONS: Harbor Hospice, 1050 W.
