Joan Elinor Crankshaw

Crankshaw, Joan Elinor Muskegon Joan Elinor Crankshaw, age 98, passed away Monday, December 6, 2021. She was born in Columbus, OH on June 20, 1923 to Joseph Frank & Amy (Bumgardner) Primmer. In her early 20's she worked as a professional Chorus Line dancer and performer which is where she met H. Keith Crankshaw whom she married on October 15, 1944. Mrs. Crankshaw had later been employed as a cook at Jolman School for 15 years before retiring. She was a member of Crestwood United Methodist Church and had been involved with the Masonic Lodge in her earlier years. She loved the outdoors, camping, hunting, off-roading and spending time at the cabin up north. Joan also liked bird watching, playing Euchre and other card games, doing word puzzles and crochet. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. SURVIVORS 3 sons Gary (Karen) Crankshaw of Portage, Dennis Crankshaw of Brunswick, OH, Kevin (Virginia Lohse) Crankshaw of Florida; Daughter, Cheryl O'Brien of Las Vegas, NV; Grandchildren, Lisa Crankshaw, Jamie Crankshaw, Heather (Cathy Bennett) O'Brien, Kimberly (Shawn) Kerr, Jodi (James) Wright, Brandi (Joseph) Russo, Lynn (Mike) Metzger, Kirk Crankshaw, Keith Crankshaw, Rose Crankshaw, Krista Crankshaw, Katie (Michael) McGowan, Kassi (Johnny) Gray, Kara (Theodore Pernal) Crankshaw, Great-grandchildren, Zachary, Chase, Jackson, Dillon, Carter, Joey, Matthew, Grace, Christopher, Mckenzie, Rayne, Cheyanne, Liam , Luke, Austin, Carson, Raelyn, Emrie, Kyleigh, Adelynn, Ariana, Everly. She was preceded in death by her husband H. Keith in 1998, a grandson Andrew Keith Crankshaw and son-in-law, James O'Brien.
