RINGELBERG, MR. JOHN E. Grand Haven Mr. John E. Ringelberg, age 88, of Grand Haven died Thursday, September 30, 2004 at Oakcrest Manor. He was born in Grand Haven, MI on March 3, 1916 to Henry and Anna Exter Ringelberg.. He had been a self employed truck driver until retiring in 1973. He was a member of First Christian Reformed Church and a Founder with the American Truck Historical Society. He enjoyed wooden boat restoration, traveling, deer hunting and gardening. He was also a volunteer for World Vision. SURVIVORS 2 sons, Jon H. Elizabeth Ringelberg of Clare, MI and Morris M. Therese Ringelberg of Spring Lake, MI; 7 grandchildren, Caleb, Hannah, Samuel, Josiah, Micah, Eric Jon and Heath; 3 great grandchildren, Brittanie, Alexander and Hunter; 3 sisters, Gertrude Darling of Grand Rapids, MI, Harriett Ringelberg of Grand Haven, MI and Lois Biros of St. Augustine, FL.; sister in law, Betty Ringelberg, wife of Henry. Mr. Ringelberg was preceded in death by his wife Theresa in May 2001 and brother, Henry "June" Ringelberg. SERVICE Monday, October 4, 2004, 11:00 AM at First Christian Reformed Church with Rev. Richard Hamstra officiating. Interment at Lake Forest Cemetery. VISITATION Sunday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Clock Funeral Home. MEMORIAL: Grand Haven Christian School or Hospice of North Ottawa Community.
