Jett, Allen E.

Allen E. Jett, age 73, passed away at home on Thursday, February 08, 2007. Allen is survived by three sons, Kenneth (Chris) Jett, Lloyd (Dixie) Jett, and Paul (Terry) Jett; ex-wife and longtime friend, Judy Jett; step-children, Clifford (Shelly) Nelson, Brad (Berta) Nelson, and Tammy (Troy) Thedorff; grandchildren, Heather, Dustin, Joshua, and Jacob Jett, Brian Fairchild,Josh Bryant, Cheri Smith, Jeff (Cora) Bogart, Bridgette Bogart, Dustin Bogart, and Benjamin, William and Lacy Nelson; a great-granddaughter, Abbie Bogart; two brothers, Richard Jett, and Kenneth (Joann) Jett of Muskegon; along with several nieces and nephews. Allen was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Larry Jett. Allen graduated from Fruitport High School, he worked for Brown Morris, and retired from Hy-Lift Sealed Power Division. Allen was retired from the United States Navy and Naval Reserve after 34 years of service, and was a life member of the Muskegon Heights Eagles #2106. Funeral Services will be held at the Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel on Monday, February 12, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held at Ever Rest on Sunday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to Harbor Hospice.
