Jessie M. Castonia

Mrs. Jessie M. Castonia, age 97, passed away Friday, October 17, 2008 in Muskegon. She was born September 21, 1911 in Ludington, MI to Frank and Wilhemina Marshall and has lived in the Muskegon area most of her life. She enjoyed knitting, reading, playing cards and loved cooking and spending time with her family. In November 1928 she married Warren Castonia in Ludington and he preceded her in death on March 12, 1973. She is survived by 2 children, Delores (Del) Harris of Bitely, MI., Donna (Paul) Schwarzenberg of Muskegon, 7 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters. SERVICES will be held 11:00AM, Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at The Sytsema Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210 with Pastor John Jack officiating. VISITATION with the family will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Memorial Contributions may be given to Harbor Hospice.
