Jerry Cates

Jerry Cates, age 77, of Muskegon passed away Monday, October 6, 2008 at Hackley Hospital after a long illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Jerry will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife of 52 years, Jean Cates, and several nieces and nephews. Jerry was in the Army from 1946 until 1949 and retired from Operating Engineers in 1989 after 35 years of service. He was a member of the Muskegon Eagles, Moose Lodge and Lithuanian Club in Muskegon. In keeping with Jerry's wishes cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
