Jerome "Jerry" K. Lampe

LAMPE, MR. JEROME K. ''JERRY'' Grand Haven, MI Jerome K. ''Jerry'' Lampe, age 72, died unexpectedly, Monday, April 28, 2003. He left behind a wife of 46 years, Rosemarie and four children, Dan Doreen Lampe of Grand Haven, MI, Dave Lampe of Pittsburgh, PA, Theresa Tom Meyer of Austin, TX and Diane Lampe and her fiance, Mike of Chicago, IL; sister, Joyce Lampe; four grandsons; aunts, uncles and cousins in Grand Haven, MI and also an aunt, niece and nephew in Marthasville, MO. Jerry was born February 18, 1931 in Grand Haven, MI to John and Edna Pauk Lampe and they preceded him in death. After graduating from high school, he went to Michigan State University where he graduated as a mechanical engineer. Jerry served in the U.S. Army in Germany from 1954 to 1955 where he met his future wife. After he finished his Army duty he returned to Germany as a civilian and married Rosemarie. Together they returned to Grand Haven where Jerry had a job waiting at B Design where he later became a partner. He continued his work until retiring as president in 1996. Jerry and his wife wintered in Sarasota, FL where they bought a small home that they worked together to remodel. He loved walking on Siesta Beach and he and his wife collected sharks teeth on Caspersen Beach in Venice, FL. Memorial Service Friday, May 2, 2003, 8:00 PM at Clock Funeral Home. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service. Donations may be given to Hospice of North Ottawa. Clock-Grand Haven
