Mr. Jeremy Curtis "Wrench" Heykoop, age 31, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2015. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on July 20, 1984 to Richard & Laura (Bevins) Heykoop and served his country in the US Marines during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He married the former Hilda "Liz" Martinez on July 10, 2010. Mr. Heykoop had been a career serviceman who loved his family deeply. He was a skillful mechanic and you could always find him tinkering on something. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, dancing and singing. He will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Wife, Hilda "Liz"; children, Nautica Laura Heykoop, Ryker Anthony Heykoop; parents, Richard & Laura Heykoop; grandparents, Nancy & Lee Bevins; brother, Joshua (Natasha) Heykoop; in-laws, Jesus (Martha) Martinez, Carlos Martinez, Carla Martinez; nieces & nephews, Kadence & Brantley Heykoop, Emma Densmore, Dominick Martinez; many aunts, uncles, cousins & friends. He was preceded in death by grandparents, George & Betty Heykoop and friends, LCPL Raul "Chato" Bravo II & HN Kyle A. Nolen. SERVICE Wednesday, December 2, 2015, 12:00 pm with visitation one hour prior to the service at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev. Bruce Johnson officiating and Military Honors under the Auspices of the US Marines and Muskegon County Council of Veterans. MEMORIAL: To the family for funeral expenses.
