Jeffrey Scott Nesbitt

Mr. Jeffrey Scott Nesbitt, age 41, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning, February 26, 2008. He was born February 25, 1967 in Muskegon to Clarence L. "Jim" & Janet (Richards) Nesbitt and had been a life resident of the area. Jeff was a graduate of Mona Shores High School and had been active with the Civil Air Patrol. He was previously employed at Burnside Manufacturing in Spring Lake and Andrie Inc. in Muskegon until 1998 when he began his own business, JSN Excavating. He loved to fish, work on cars, target shoot and reload ammunition with his good friend Joe West, but most of all spending time with his family by taking walks in the woods and feeding the wildlife. On September 11, 1993 he married the former Michele Ann Meyer and she survives him along with 2 daughters, Samantha Nicole and Kaleigh Elizabeth Nesbitt. He is also survived by his mother, Janet Nesbitt of Norton Shores; 2 sisters, Julie Siemen of Jenison and Jill (Dan) Alford of Zeeland; his mother-in-law, Arleen Swenson of Norton Shores; his father-in-law, Harold "Butch" (Sherry) Meyer of Fruitport and by several nieces and nephews, Mike and Shane Nesbitt, Danielle (Conan) Gibbs, Carly (Dave) Teusink, Nick and Nicole Nesbitt, 1 brother-in-law, Jack Meyer and 2 sisters-in-law, Alisa Swenson and Ashley Swenson. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence L. "Jim" Nesbitt in 2003; his brother, James S. Nesbitt in 1995 and by "Bear", his faithful German shepherd. SERVICES will be 1PM Saturday, March 1, 2008 at Central Assembly of God (896 Home St., Muskegon) with Dr. Gordon Aikin officiating. Burial will be in Norton Cemetery. VISITATION with Jeff's family will be 6-8 PM Friday at The Lee Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S.
