Mrs. Jeanne Dorleen (Booker) Fisher, age 82, passed away at her home Saturday, February 4, 2012. She was born in Muskegon, MI on January 23, 1930 to W.R. & Elva Raye (Bedwell) Booker and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from Michigan State University and her Master of Arts Degree from Wayne State University. She began her teaching career in the Muskegon Heights School District and later became a Reading Specialist for the Spring Lake School District until her retirement in 1984. On August 16, 1952, Jeanne married George R. Pulos of Grand Haven. After his death, she married Bernard Fisher of Muskegon on April 26, 1987. She was a long time member of the Spring Lake Country Club, an active member of the Muskegon Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Alpha Iota Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa and the retired Spring Lake Teachers. SURVIVORS She is survived by her son, George R. Pulos Jr. and his wife, Debbie Hermanson-Pulos; daughter, Alison Huffman and her husband, Richard; grandsons, Nicholas and Alexander Pulos, Skyler Huffman; granddaughters, Maggie and Catie Hermanson. Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bernard; sisters, Marjorie Harwood and Doleen Holt; and brother, William Booker. SERVICE A private service will be held.
