Jeanne Bartlett

Mrs. Jeanne L. Bartlett, age 84, died peacefully at her home on Monday, February 8, 2010. She was born on February 9, 1925 in Muskegon, Michigan and had been a resident of North Muskegon most of her life and a part-time resident of Aspen, Colorado since 1974. She married George W. Bartlett, on September 11, 1948. She will be remembered as a committed and loving wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend to so many. SURVIVORS Jeanne is survived by her husband of 61 years, George of North Muskegon; son, Bruce (Elena) Bartlett of Holmdel, NJ; daughters, Laura (Robert) Johnson of Centennial, CO and Sara (Jeffrey) Fink of Chicago, IL; eight grandchildren, Maegan Bartlett, Spencer Bartlett, Matthew Bartlett, Erik Johnson, Emily Johnson, George Johnson, Patrick Fink and Nathaniel Fink and step-granddaughter, Kim Van Den Berg. She was predeceased in death by her sister, Mary Lou Mobley; step-brothers, Erwin Larsen, Jr. and Donald Larsen, and step-sister, Virginia L. Ocker. SERVICE The family will be holding a private service. MEMORIAL: In lieu of flowers, for those desiring a way to honor her, contributions may be made to the Jeanne and George Bartlett Fund at the Community Foundation for Muskegon County or to a charity of your choosing.
