Jean D Whitfield (Frances), 80, went to be with the Lord on December 25, 2023. She was born in Hattiesburg, MS on October 5, 1943 to the union of Alonzo James Crosby and Vernon Catherine (Brown) . She was a member of Corinthian Baptist Church. She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Tracy (Linda) Whitfield, Pamela Whitfield, Maria(Phillip) Coleman, Tonnie Whitfield, and Pharquiette (Louis) Churchwell, brothers; Lynn (Darlene) Crosby, Willie Crosby, Sylvester (Margarette) Crosby, and Anthony Brown, sisters; Mary Thorton, Shirley Savage, Levell Ison, Janet Travis, Elizabeth Thomas, Donna (Ronald) Coleman, Dora (Daniel) Hagans, Darla Ann (Thornel Dewayne) Ruff, and Alice (Christopher) Howell and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
