Jean Tackx

Mrs. Jean Tackx, age 84, passed away at her home, Saturday, August 25, 2007, surrounded by family. She was born March 20, 1923 in Muskegon, MI. The former Jean Gillespie married Paul Tackx on September 12, 1953 at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Ravenna, MI. She was a member of St. Jean's Catholic Church and past Miss Muskegon in 1941. She is survived by her husband, Paul; 2 sons, William (Patricia) Ingalls, Jr. of Muskegon, MI and Joseph Tackx of Fruitport, MI; 1 daughter, Paula Adkins of Norton Shores, MI; 4 grandchildren, Mason Adkins, William Ingalls II, Lloyd (Sue) Ingalls, and Joe Ingalls; 4 great-grandchildren, Adam Ingalls, Sara Ingalls, Amy Ingalls, and Joey Ingalls. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Sophia Gillespie; 1 brother, Raymond Gillespie; and 1 sister, Leta Jones.
