Mrs. Jean M. Benson, age 74, died Saturday, June 27, 2009. She was born in Whitehall, MI on March 10, 1935 to Lowell & Helen Goodrich and married Carl Benson on December 26, 1952. Mrs. Benson had been employed as a Beautician. SURVIVORS Son, Carl (Christine) Benson of OH; daughter, Vicki (Gary) Mackelburg of CA; 5 grandchildren, Melissa Mackelburg, Chelby Benson, Emily Benson, Brenden Branson, Alexander Benson; 3 great grandchildren; brother, Doug Goodrich of Montague; sister, Joyce (Roger) Flanders of CA. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Carl; daughters, Sherry and Carla Jean. SERVICE Thursday, July 2, 2009, 11:00 AM at the Clock Chapel. Interment at Oakhurst Cemetery. VISITATION Wednesday, 6-8 PM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon.
