Jean Abbott

Mrs. Jean Abbott, age 96, graduated into Heaven Thursday, December 24, 2009. She was born in Chicago, IL on February 27, 1913 to Norman and Lillian (Kersten) Aimer and married John A. Abbott on February 8, 1936. Mrs. Abbott was a loving mother and a talented homemaker. She loved the Lord and looked forward to eternal life with Jesus. Mrs. Abbott was a member of First Congregational Church. SURVIVORS Daughter, Kay (Joel) VanderWall; son, John "Jack" (Sharron) Abbott; 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren;1 great-great grandson; 1 nephew and 7 nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, John in 1997; and 2 sisters, Virginia Arms and Adelyne Andersen. SERVICE: Chapel Celebration of Everlasting Life: Saturday, July 3, 2010, 4:00 PM at First Congregational Church UCC.
