Jay H. Charles, age 95, passed away Wednesday. Jay was the widower of Martha and retired from Teledyne Continental Motors. SURVIVORS - his children, Susan Charles of Muskegon; Barbara LaRue of Muskegon; Beverly (Dennis) David of Hesperia; Joyce (Daniel) Light of Muskegon; Orville Charles of Muskegon; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; 1 brother, Harold Charles of Oklahoma. Preceded in death by 1 son, Nicholas Charles in 1968 during the Vietnam Conflict. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1pm at the Crandell Funeral Home - Fremont Chapel with visitation 1 hour prior to the funeral. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
