Janis Ruth Sheggrud, age 91, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 24, 2024. She was born in Lansing, MI on July 25, 1933 to Wayne & Ruth (Silky) Scribner and graduated from Muskegon High School in 1951. Janis had been a security guard at the BC Cobb Plant for 5 years until retiring. Prior to that she had also worked for Olan Mills and at Brunswick. Janis will be remembered by many friends and family for her smile, laughter and commitment to her family.

SURVIVORS

Children Kris Sheggrud (Chris) Temple of Six Lakes, Connie Sheggrud (John) Timmer of Muskegon, Eric (Mikelle) Sheggrud of Muskegon, Jana Sheggrud Quinn of Twin Lake; Nieces, Laurie Scribner (Erik) Huffman of Norton Shores, Mary Scribner (Kevin) Douglas of Interlochen; 12 Grandchildren, 8 Great-grandchildren, and 2 Great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Mitch Sheggrud, son-in-law, Dan Quinn and a brother, Charles Scribner.
